Will US sourced headers fit a UK car?

Bought a set of brand new Agency Power headers just before Christmas for my TT from a US seller on eBay.

Checked a couple of threads here to find out if I needed extra parts before my guy fits them, and looks like I need new OEM gaskets and nuts.

Odd question - but does the US exhaust / manifold system differ to the UK model? And is it nuts or bolts I need? And any ideas on part numbers?

cheers!

US Headers are exactly the same Dan.

I had my equal length uprated Headers fitted by Redline Racing (Porsche Cup Racing Team Independent), who ordered nuts, bolts & washers directly from Porsche Parts. A good Independent or Porsche Parts will be able to tell you exactly what you require.

Scorcher, what kind of deal did you get?? I am keen to get some.

You must be just around the corner from me, I am based in Caterham.

Cheers Cableguy

Lee - I got them for £420 inc shipping

My Dad lives in Kenley, so you might see him in his black 997 TT - my car is going to stay with him for a couple of weeks whilst I'm getting my drive enlarged, and undoubtedly he'll have to take a few trips in it!

Sounds good! do you have a link to the company?

I will keep an eye out for both motors.

Let me know what you think of the headers. Do you have an exhaust too?

Cheers

It was just an eBay seller, not a company - sorry!

Have got a Milltek Exhaust and Evoms CAI - gotta love that noise!

Any ideas on the part numbers, or should I just ask at the parts counter? I'm used to dealing with moronic BMW parts counter guys y'see...

Jimmer and any other UK guys, there's a Porsche & BMW meet at Brooklands on Sun 27th if you are interested? http://forum.evotechnik.net/showthread.php?t=19595

FWIW, I have been told that you can reuse the turbo to head gaskets and the turbo to pipe gaskets several times (6). I reused my turbo to pipe when I put on my EP2 Loud without any issues.
