I love it

I agree that there is nothing wrong with a different look. It looks aggressive. How did you do the tint?

I love the color and the contrast combo, looks great there is nothing wrong being alittle different than usual. I even like the tail pipess, you can play around and see if you could fit it little differntly than how they sit now. Enjoy your new power and the look combo, interesting looking coupe....

I like the look, I'd just go with different tips...maybe the techart or the Porsche optional tips in black? I bet both would look really good on this car!

Agree, it looks great save the tips....I like the CF wing....and would leave it unpainted...

GT2 front would be what I would get too....I would love to get one. Please send/post pictures when you do that.

Steve,

Wow, you didn't last long! That thing has got to be sick fast now! Can you tell me how much did you paid for the the rear wing? Is it an add-on piece? What suspension are you running now? Can't wait to see your car in person!

Lets get together, meet at Jasons and discuss what I have done. The car came with H&R springs. I like them and the drop is nice. I think I paid around $1200 for the add on wing, it is really beautiful and well made.

It is not a film, not sure how they were done, but they look great and the lights shine through bright and clear. I bought them at Evolution Motorsport.

Steve,

Yeah, lets meet up at JD's. I have the same H&R springs on my car, like the drop. May run out to PIR this weekend for a NASA DE event, you should stop by. Getting the itch to start the power mods but its tax season now

Torres,

Welcome to the 6. At first I thought it (GT660) was a typo. The main diff between the 650 and the 700 set up is the fuel system (a big diff, actually since the stock system w/the 5 bar fpr is not adequate). I guess I will have to make a personal call to Stephen to get the story.

The nice thing is that it is just a basic step to add the fuel system and presto: GT 700.

Please tell me: How do you like your 996 compared to your M3? If I may be frank, and this is heresy around here, but I actually enjoy my M3 more most of the time.

Most likely they were "smoked" via spray tint. They scuffed them up and sprayed them with a tint spray like "Nightshades"/etc. As long as they used a clearcoat over the the tinted finish they should last a while and not fade.

My only complaint is there maybe a shade too dark...But, your pictures are in direct sunlight, so maybe it's not as bad when the Guards doesn't look so bright.

Yes it is a very easy jump to the GT700 which may be in my near future once Evoms gets done with all their testing. I still love my ///M3. Handles great and is very fun to drive especially with the SMG. Only problem is that for the last few years I have had the car rev match for me and now I have to learn to do it myself. BTW it is nice to see a familiar face over here at 6speed.
