Gloss or matte... its a tough one. The matte does look really good up close though due to the texture.

My car has the Textured black, however if I had an artic silver car I would have gone Gloss black, or the brushed finish (I think this is probably the ultimate finish for this color, judging by how well the Black series AMGs on these wheels look).

Nero@ Titan can hook you up with either, he may even have a set in stock right now.

Onelove, those wheels look SPECTACULAR on your car!!! I love it!!

Go for it Hollywood!! (I think maybe the brushed finish for the Silver car, but either way, they'll look amazing).

I keep looking at my stock turbo twist wheels which match perfectly with the arctic sil of the car, Its a no brainer to go with brushed or any matching silver on the wheels with my sil car. The photo shop Kevin did for me is ok but I'm still having a hard time on the color. The wheels I am sold on. Maybe I'll get someone to photoshop all the selections in finish against my car and put it up for more opinions. Onelove's car is hawt! The photos really show off the wheels and I agree the yellow finishes it all off. Tough decision. Thanks for the input.

CLK AMG 63 Black Series have been a huge seller for the M40s (Benz version of the P4). Having seen pics of a Silver with Black Wheels and Silver with the brushed finish, I would definitely go brushed finish on silver car. The yellow contrasts the black nicely on my car, but I think on a silver car it wouldn't be as noticeable, and the brushed finish would look better.

I get lots of positive feedback on the Black Satin finish HRE's. Question - What is the simplest way to lower the car to European ride height? I have heard everything from Springs to full retro on the suspension?

Vic55, Thats probably one of the sickest 997tt's I've seen, I love the wheels in the gloss black.

Hollywood, these are some of the finest looking wheels I've ever seen on a TT.
I think the textured ones especially look spectacular.
You're right, the silver probably wouldn't be as 'different' from your stockers, but they'd look lipsmakin' with the silver car.
Wish I was in your shoes though, how can you go wrong, any of them will look hawt!!
When you decide though, commit to it, you don't want to experience buyers remorse if you see another with one of the other colours.

I just bought a second set of wheels (9ff), ostensibly for track use, but I may well run them on the street sometimes as well.
If they made these P40's in 18's I might have got them instead.
Anyway, I'm not getting rid of the factory GT3 wheels, but with my new wheels, I might have a spring look, and then a summer look.
You could/should just buy all three and then change them like the seasons Now to decide, 19 or 20 (go with the 19)

Flat/Satin Black. This will look the business on Arctic Silver.

The high gloss is no fun with brake dust...The wheels just end up turning brown.

bestof5, thanks for the photo, yours are not the hre p40's but it gives me a good idea of what the overall look will be. I just had the dealer install H&R spings on my 996tts cab. 330.00 for the spings, 450 for dealer install, 250 for dealer allignment. Car looks very different and rides very well too. I am very happy and will post pics as soon as it stops rainning in SA. Since I will eventually track my 03 996tt I will be putting in pss9 or 10 soon on that car. Thanks to all the members on the 6 for the advise to do it this way. I think the springs will be the cheapest way to get the look and a better/stiffer ride. Good Luck! Your car looks great!
