PSS10's
On tireracks website, they have the PSS10 listed as an option for the 996 turbo. Anyone know the advantages of the 10 vs 9?

I thought PSS10's supported the 997's "push-button" adjustment of dampending ... I suppose I'm mistaken.

Pss10 is the new version of the Pss9. the 9's are discontinued, what you see out there is excess inventory. Yes, the 10 means they added 1 additional click adjustment and overhauled the design. A nice option.
If you have a sport button PASM-car, you can opt for the Bilstein Damptronics, which give you no external adjustment. There was some confusion that they were the same upon release but they are two different systems. |
I called Bilstein about this and they told me that everything is the same except a new and different valve system to make the stop clicks more defined and a new knob. Otherwise the shocks themselves are the same. I believe the PSS10's are more expensive so PSS9's could be a bargain now.
