Dunlop SP Sport 9000 Tire questions

I had the Dunlop 9090 on my previous BMW M5, Worst tires yet. Poor grip, I lit up the tires every single time I floored the car. There sidewall seems to be weak as well, consistently loosing grip around turns where their replacements didn't. They last longer than the other tires you mention for a reason, they sacrifice performance for increased tread life. The dunlops are cupped ala motorcycle tires. I would stay away from them especially knowing the kind of driving you do.
That said, if you get the ones Evan mentions above, you should be in great shape, they have a much more agressive design than the 9000 series I mention

Corsa's from Pirelli's page...no 19's. They are classified as competition tires by pirelli

The 305 size that we offer was a specially developed Tuner size from Dunlop. This tire differs slightly from other models, in that the development work was done on the Nurburgring track for a high speed street tire test after the original SP 9000 had already been released. The 305 offers excellent dry and wet traction and typically longer tread life than other so called tuner sized tires. We use this with all of our wheel and tire packages and have gotten great feedback from end users.
Incidentally the car that the initial test was done on was a specially prepared 993 TT with the 305/25/19 that broke the record for cars with street tires..
