Question Tints...??

Quick question for the guys with tints, did you have a problem with the dot tronix all around the edging of the glass? did the tints stick evenly around it?

I just had my tints done this morning and its really uneven, im hoping when the tints dry out and cure it will form evenly around, whether it sticks or doesnt as long as it looks consistant im cool.

Im really hoping it turns out good, the last thing im looking for is a mess

Get as much sun/heat on it as possible. If you don't like it, have the tint removed and get the dots shaved.

Did you get ceramic tint? i'm looking to getting some tint and was thinking about spending the extra on ceramic tint. I guess it reflects 40% of the heat and has some special UV properties.

What % shade did you get?

You'll get stuck with that funny look to the tint around the dots in the rear window. Never heard of shaving the dots but it worth a try.

Any good tint shop should be able to shave the dots.

I have the dot issue as well. Also, I used Winco tint and already have nicks in the drivers window tint from my seat belt. I don't think the Winco tint is very durable.

Do your homework on a good shop, and stay there at the car when the tint is being installed. I've had issues three times now with the retards that put tint on. I don't know if it's a union thing or not, but I can't seem to get a good tint. The last time included, tracking **** all up in my back seat, staining the leather door handle piece, scratching the roof paint, ****ty tint, and a dot matrix issues.

I think I did get ceramic tint it was pretty expensive to what I was used to and I got 30%.

The truth is if it is not going to be consistent around the dots, I am going to get a refund and have him take them off, I will drive myself crazy looking at that. Then I will either go the route of shaving the dots or painting them black. I am not a happy camper right now, I dont even like having my car in the shop, knowing that these guys are going to be peeling it off my windows in my car freaks me out already.
