I fail to get the point of owning 3x the same car (even if they were Neons!!)??? Why exactly is he getting so many? Did he overbuild his garage and needs to fill it? !

Listen, cars are toys and just imagine you had enough $ that you could collect ones you liked in different colors. Wouldn't you? Even if it were only to look at, which would be a shame, it's OK with me. Personally, I'd have 2. One I could drive the **** out of and get dings at Wal-mart and the other to keep real nice. Andrew, ask his opinions on driving the CGT vs. Enzo.

I guess the CGT is harder to drive than the Enzo, from I've read and seen ...
Can't wait for pics!

Road and Track July 2004 "Crown Jewels" not a very good article IMHO but there is the suggestion that the CGT is a little harder to shift (short throw, stiff clutch, high torque, and on rails until it gives away) as compared to a paddle shifter. I think the extra $200,000 is not for performance but for exclusivity of less than 400 cars vs. 1500 cars. There may also be a F bias with your collector. To each his own. I admit that I love the look of many F cars, especially the F-50 that I just saw in Greensboro, NC at the dealership but I honestly do not like the lines and hard pointed edges of the Enzo. I guess I am showing my true colors of preferring Le Mans types over F-1 in looks. I think that is what it really boils down to.

The F-50 was/is my favorite for looks and I don't like the Enzo's looks either. For similar $$$, after all what's 200 large among friends, I'd probably get the CGT unless I felt the Enzo drove much better. Now it's time to go to sleep, because only there will I have the ability to buy one. Sweet dreams!
