then click down in one area and start clicking along the line that you want the shape to be..kinda like connecting the dots but you're creating the dots...does that make sense? once you get all the way back around close the shape off by double clickin on your last 'dot' and it will close the shape for you...you will now see the object as a selection

hope that helps
Hi,

Let's says I am trying ti click along the quarter windows wich is round, how do I get round and smooth ? Caus with the "clicking along the line", I get straight segment...

that gets a little more tricky...this is when you need the pen tool (above the text tool 'T'). when you use the pen tool you can't just 'connect the dots'...when you click and hold, the pen tool will allow you to create curves...the problem that you will see is when you go to click to make the next point, often the new line wants to make it's own curve (which typically doesn't go in the direction you want it to) To avoid this, once you're done creating the arc that you want, go back to the second/new point that you created..hold down the alt key and click and on the point (you should see a little triangular arrow) This allows you to 'close' your first curve and start on your next one.

I must warn you, this takes practice...don't get frustrated...just keep at it...it'll get easier, i promise
