Z8
I had a Z8 and sold it. I regret that sale more than any other car I have ever sold. I was actually looking for one yesterday. Titanium Silver with the Red/Black interior is the trick.

I drove the Z8 on the way back from a test drive appointment for Cayenne Turbo. Rizza Porsche (approx 25 mi south of Chicago), and we took the more curvy scenic route. The Z8 was very elegant to say the least. The view from the drivers gazes at a long gorgeous hood with lines that remind you of 60's era muscle cars. The interior with its guages inconveniently set in the middle of the dash was just damn cool to look at, though a pain in the *** to look right between shifts. The power is of course Naturally aspirated with M performance, and blistering instant torque. Though not as fast as the turbo, or SL 600, I am head over heals with the styling, 6speed, and ride quality. The Z8 is very solid around curves, even near WOT. I know the Z8 has been around for a few years, but the design is timeless, and am now considering one .....perhaps with a silver/red combo. I still would chose my SL over the Z8 due to the amenities including power retractable top, 600 Horses, though pretty even in design/looks.
Lou, thanks for the drive, enjoyed every minute of it.
Here's a couple of pics: (had to throw in a snap of the turbo too

Ryan,
No problem buddy. Between that drive and our drive to tirerack, we had quite a long weekend. Weather was so perfect, so much fun. Thanks for posting the pics you took.
BTW, That red beast of yours is amazing to drive and let me tell you guys, pics do not do the car justice. The all black wheels, tinted windows, brake ducts, Strosek front and rear spoiler is a recipe for a menacing car. That car just scream "get the F out of my way"

Talked to Tyson today and he said he had a great time in your town...
And I agree...the Z8 is hot. I thought is fantastic that BMW stopped production...they did it at the right time...

No they weren't. This is an 03 and is not an Alipina. The 2003 production was split up between regular Z8's and Alpina Z8's. The one I mentioned has a production date of 11/02, is a 2003 my, and is silver/red and is not an Alpina.
