I will be in Ontario Monday the 4th to do a final review of my car as it is being shipped to Scottsdale, AZ on October 7th. And yes, the car was on the dyno with race gas last Thursday and it did have "an especially competent tuner" working the programming. I will get the numbers Monday and post the results. I can tell you that she put down 720rwhp on pump gas with he timing retarded slightly to protect the engine. Please remember that this engine is built for an 8600rpm redline.
He was impressed with your car and knows there is some serious power left in her! |

Is it this product?
http://www.sqsracing.com/produkt/277...porsche-ultima Youtube clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M216DVI-TgU I bought a GT2 tranny from Kevin at Ultimate Motorwerks. (Just looked on his site and it seems as if there has been very little traffic on there for some time. Anyone know this shop?) It was meant to be brand new in a crate but turned into supposedly fully factory rebuilt and warrantied product. There was some suggestion that it might have had some updates but I'm not sure if this included Steel syncro's? Guess there is no way of knowing except having someone look inside? Problem is that I'm in Australia and it's in Chicago. Anyone know of a tranny specialist in that area? It's already been to California Motorsports to be converted to run in a 'flipped' over position for a front engined project I'm working on. The motor will have somewhere in the vicinity of 500-650whp and similar levels of torque. It will be a track car so I assume even though this is not up in the power stratosphere of your level of cars, it's still generating more power than the car it was originally built for. Assuming there is a built in level of strength over and above the 996 GT2, but is it enough? Car will be in the 2500-2600lb range wet, no driver. Also as this is a system that still uses the clutch, do you still heel / toe on downshifts? Sorry for the OT but my research led me to this thread. Love to see video of your car in action too. Is there any on Youtube etc? Patrick |

That is very close to the coveted 1000hp at 1 bar boost!

that's some incredible power for such boost! i'm amazed by the efficiency - sounds like the record-holder, no? the FPM will probably go down as one of the baddest 911's in history..

That is outstanding power especially at that boost level. Can you turn the boost say up to 1.4 or 1.5 safely?

I am certainly pleased. Does not take much to initiate the traction control!!
Any idea about what kind of max boost the turbos / engine is capable of running? Not that you would crank it all the way, but... |
Awesome Power! Havent read the whole thread but what the specs on the motor and the turbo's?

If you were to prove that statement with a video, that would be much appreciated :D
