A VERY custom 996 GT2 "RSR"...
I have been building a 996 GT2 "RSR" for over a year and it seems to have generated lots of interest. So I have started its own thread to keep those interested up to date. I believe the car will be complete in another 3 months. It is fully customized using ERP suspension components, RSR custom cross members and custom RSR uprights and includes 997 RSR centerlocks and monoblock BBS racing wheels, 11 x 18 and 13 x 18 with 295/30-18 and 345/30-18 Cup tires, and full lightweight racing Brembos custom built by Charlie at Wrightwood Racing. Includes custom individual throttle body TT 3.8L engine with 840 REAR WHEEL HORSEPOWER. All body parts including hood, roof, and decklid are carbon kevlar. Transmission is regeared for track and is purposely set at 190MPH at 6th gear. We have also installed a very trick electronically actuated sequential shift unit. Pictures of the current car are available if you will send me your email address.

I live in the area and have my car serviced at 911 design, would you mind if I take additional photos and post them?
|
I do not mind. You will obviously need to clear it with Loren.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING (especially the 840rwhp)!!!! Just one little criticism, however. The rear spoiler needs to be a touch bigger:p
|
Thanks doc. I will take it into consideration.
