does anybody have removed the cats with stock exhaust?i ve heard some opinions that in a flashed k16 car it is better just to remove the cats than to install a complete exhaust system...

 

I did this on my 993TT and it made a HUGE difference with just a flash, never even threw a CEL.

 

i have 200 cell cats on my car, with a fabspeed gen 2 exhaust

i love it.. no CELs
and in my opinion is the best sounding exhaust... it sounds very deep, and not metallic like others

 

I am talking just to remove the cats...on a flashed k16car...I love the quiet level of my car...

 

If you don't mind the CEL on all the time, you could remove the cats and keep the stock muffler. The system is one piece so you have to have the cats cut out and a bypass welded in. I'm guessing they have no SMOG check stations in Greece.
