Car polish procedure question
Car polish procedure question
Gang:
I have been at Autopia.com but with all that info it is hard to come up with a clear path.
I have a Gaurds Red C4S. I want to polish the car up and remove the fine scratches.
Curret in house products:
Girots 1-2-3
Mequires Swirl remover
Various waxes - Girots, Mequires, Rejex, Zanio etc.
I have a PC orbital with Lake County pads (cut to polish).
I have used the Girots stuff and I am really not pleased with the results. I want to go from a fairly agressive cut to a smooth polish.
Anyone have a range of products from agressive to smooth they recommend?

My suggestion would be go the Pinacle route with Poly Clay, Cleansing lotion, and then Soveran. Also i wouldnt use the PC for the Cleansing Lotion either, just some MF. Also i would say make sure that you go "back and forth" and not in circles when applying.
The Cleansing Lotion is a polish that should remove the fine scratches, however there might be a few other alternatives one of the pro's could suggest.
andrew?
