Bummer, yet another check engine light

I guess car gets to go back in for the fourth time in 2 months.

I was sitting in a driveway dropping of daughter with the car at idle and I heard kind of a whine or different resonation type of sound coming from the engine compartment for a few seconds and then the engine light came on. Sound seems to be gone, but light is here to stay.

Made it a 150 miles before having to go back to the shop after two weeks of being in the shop. Car was great for 8 months and now all of a sudden I cannot keep off the warnings lights.

Anything chronic that should be checked out that can be causing multiple check engines or is this just a run of bad luck. I had a solenoid malfunction last week.

sounds like you should try a different service department. that is unacceptable. i would be asking for a new car at this point. Something like that ruins the experience of owning the car which is ridiculous when you're paying $135k for something

I am kind of out of luck about service departments unless I want to drive 200 miles.

Which of your cars is it that is giving you so many problems? Is it the new warranty turbo? Need to know is the mil light on for the same code as what you have been getting before now. Do you know what code was there before? See if you can get at least a generic OBD code and post back. Where do you live? May be that you need to take it to a different shop or dealer. If you could get it to either me at Technical Dimensions in JAX. Fl or Stephen at Immagine we can get it fixed properly. At this point if it has been a dealer you've been going to, they've wasted enough of your time for nothing, regardless of whether or not it is under warranty. I have repaired dealer warranty cars before and had Porsche write me the check w/ proper documentation. Good luck- Seth.
