Turbo Motor in a Boxter

I have a friend in UK who is installing a Turbo motor into a Boxter but is having difficulties mounting/fitting transmission, does anyone know someone who has done a similar conversion? In 911 Porsche World there was someone recently installed a GT3 motor into a Boxter so it can be done.

I was wondering when someone would do one of those.

Sounds like a killer project. I have got to believe cooling will become a challenging issue, though.

There is a lot different engine setups used with Boxsters. One of my friends has a 3.8l engine in his with a lot of GT3 Cup parts...Goes like hell

Member Rami in the forum had a bi-turbo Boxster S.

Yup the Protosport Boxter has a turbo motor in it with K24/18G's no less! Car is sick. I heard it was out on the track a few weeks ago and ran flawlessly. A testament to the engineering and build abilities of Protosport.
