This is the second time in 2 days I see a pic of an Enzo that has its nose stickin' up ... wtf?
As far as looks go ... well ... I'm no fan either. Great piece of machinery for sure, with aerodynamical body ... but not my cup of tea. It's better than an Aztek, but not quite as perfect as a Diablo 6.
I gotta say I'd be aggravated not to totally smoke a Porsche if I were in an Enzo... and would be damn proud the other way around

Ithink the Enzo is missing something: a nice rear wing like its predecessors the F40 and F50 - would go well with the a la F1 nose

Some of your guys' internet *****ing is straight egregious and laughable.

Ugly or not ugly, nose sticking up or down, pulling only two car lengths or 10 Boeing 737s, the Enzo package goes places no Stuttgart product can even decide to begin to explore.

The premier instant celebrity status car whether you like it or not.

All else bow down.

Some people could care less about "celebrity status" ... that's why we own understated Porsches and not Lambos, Ferraris, etc.

since when is a blinged out porsche turbo with body kits and deep dished wheels and loud exhaust --> undersated?

if the cars of 6speed is porsche understatement, show me what you'd do to over state yourselves.

Benjamin,

I'm assuming your statement of "No Stuttgart product" did not include the new Porsche GT?

Did you run the Enzo with KA? What was the result? Should be interesting.

The Nose is sticking up because the car can be raised to help the car get over high curbs and rough roads. Since the car was driving onto the grass, they probably raised the front and forgot to lower it back down.

Also, I think the Enzo looks amazing. It's look reminds me a lot of an F1 car. Plus, in the Enzo's case, form follows function and it functions VERY well. You really have to see an Enzo in person to appreciate it's lines. In person, the car looks totally different.

No, the KA motor was not installed at the time. The car was producing about 614 rwhp at the time. We started at about 40 mph and I hit the top of third gear before we noticed three CHP's parked on the right side of the highway a few hundred yards ahead. Needless to say we both braked fast. I honestly can't say how many car lengths I was ahead as I was not looking in the mirrors at the time. The Enzo was not directly to the side. I don't believe he could have been more than a car length behind.

enzo race

chad, the two car length lead was on Orli at about 120mph , when we got on the highway i was the last one to get on an i was on orli's ***. I am thinking if i got a clear shot and my gears came into play things may have been different. I will get a clear shot at the enzo soon, when it happens i will post the results. this enzo is not stock, he has added horsepower. I am sure on the west coast you have a better shot with the turbo because the weather is a lot cooler than 98 degrees.

Xico,

August in Monterey wasn't 98 degrees on that day. I can't remember but it was hot. At the time I had the liquid CO2 intercooler sprayers and I was using it.

It's really moot at time as the power, clutch, gearing and nitrous have all been changed or in the case of the nitrous....added.
