It's also very pretty (polished SS) from the back, you have to get some new tips to make it yours.

Yes, it is a must mod to go to the next level (doesn't have to be Fabspeed). I'm scheduled to go GT660 end of this month.

Anyone here with Tip, with experience with this exhaust ?

They claim to make 35hp on tiptronics and up to 55hp on modified cars. 9ff makes similar claims about their exhaust, I believe 38hp (they claim). Since this is the third generartion exhaust that Fabspeed builds for the 996TT I am apt to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Here's what they claim on their website:

"Guaranteed to make more power and have better deep exotic sports car sound than any other 996TT exhaust in the world. FabSpeed 996TT Maxflo exhaust was independently DYNO tested and PROVEN to make significantly more power then RUF, ROOCK, EUROPIPE, B&B, GHL, modified stock exhaust systems, FVD, and AWE Tuning."

They have a good reputation and I would be very surprised that they would put all that on the line, just to make claims like this if they are indeed false.

For the record, and I have stated this before, our company was never included in the "exhaust shootout" they always refer to. We have also yet to see a back to back with ours vs. theirs.

We just somehow got lumped in with everyone else that is a threat. I laugh whenever I read that.

Also, on a car with K16's we saw 28 peak crank hp gain over stock. WOODSTER stated that you could not see 40-50hp over stock with an aftermarket exhaust. No disrespect WOODSTER, but that statement is actually false. You can certainly see that type of gain on a car with larger turbos. The X50's and GT2's were a a perfect example. Anything with a K24 for that matter.

Ramone, our company has raised the bar in the Porsche tuning market. No longer are users buying on how shiny the parts are. Proven performance is the name of the game. Buyers are now more interested in HOW the power was gained more so then the gains themselves. This is where we shine.

We our slaves to the dyno and WILL NOT sell products that do not work or do not make an appreciable gain. We also take great pride in being able to show you the data we have collected from all of our testing.

I know you guys know what you are doing but your numbers actually
AGREE with mine. I said 18-25 hp and you got a max peak of 28, NOT 40-50 over stock.
