March 2nd OC Speed challenge Pictures and Video
Robert,
I don't know you or have met you but the way you portray yourself does make it sound like all you cared about was racing and now you want to brag and boast. These events are meant to be fun and safe. Even if you did have some spirited runs and you beat someone, I don't think the best approach is to get on the forums and brag about it.
We don't want to be like those other car forums with immature folks. As well, this type of attitude also deters other members from attending these type of fun runs.
Again, I don't know you so am just going by what the organizer has stated and how you post your comments.
Hopefully you can understand the importance of being adults on these runs and also on how to post threads without talking about how you beat this and that. There will always be faster cars out there and these drives are not about who can beat who.
Thanks.
Fred

EXACTLY! If you werent there, then please dont comment. I didnt see Robert do anything any worse then anyone else on the run. A comment/complaint could be made about everyone that was there, but isnt called for. We all had a good time, nobody/ nothing was hurt or even came close. Elim's comment appeared to be joking, considering he had a
at the end of his post.
I am actually surprised to hear this. I only saw Robert show complete courtesy throughout the event.
Do you have video or another person to back up your claim that I ALMOST caused an accident? My video depicts the exact opposite. I was always courteous and allowed any Lambo to get in front of me (even though they lacked the power to do so) and continuously flashed my lights to signal them to get in front of me when I concluded that they wanted into the lane I was occupying. I never came close to any of your high end cars, but they saw my tail lights on many occasions.
First you wined about the Subaru, and now this!
I do not subscribe to car hierarchy (which precludes one to have fun on public roads). We all have the same thing in common, we love cars. Just because you drive a Lambo, that does not make them any better than the modified Subaru driver. If he likes that car and he can keep up with the $400,000 Lambos, I say he is welcome. Do you?

Anyway, it was all fun and hope to do it more often. And I won't discriminate japanese cars, as I did own a few before and they are awesome cars.
I told brian not to call you in the first place!! haha...
On a serious note... I met Robert for the first time and he is all about having fun. Has 2-way radio's and likes to let everyone have their time in the front. Now, I wasn't there for the Lambo part, but when we were on our way to huntington, he was very courteous and just wanted everyone to have fun!
In my opinion, he is WAY more cautious than how we used to do our "spirited" runs in malibu canyon with the guys who don't post here as much.
I just wish my "ride" didn't have a stupid b-ball game to go too!!

Robert, I think it's comments like this which lead people to believe you're bragging..
Not trying to start anything - making a simple statement. I don't know you, but I've been on runs and know Elim(Elliot) and Fred are part of some of the larger exotic runs so they have sincere experience and wouldn't state something unless it was needed.
and allowed any Lambo to get in front of me (even though they lacked the power to do so)
Bragging about a Subaru that held it's own with Lambo's and P-cars? I only speak the truth. We still have yet to hear from any person at the run to back up his Elims statements.
Tha last run I was at with the Lambos it was in my friends LP640. We were doing 100MPH+ the entire time and I was video taping. We were in the back of the pack.
Saying that egos and errogrance is devoid is just incorrect. Or were you there too?

Believe me, there is NO merit for the reactions. Robert's comments have nothing to do with the reactions seen here. If you were on the run, you would have a different perspective. That's all I can say.
and if fred roles he brings the whole nocal crew even ghey kirby
