I just bought the ecliptech as well. Does anyone have an install guide (which wires to splice)?

Edwin,

You pick up the signal from the wires leading to the OBD2 port, just before the port. I will have to research the clolor wire for the tach signal, it's in the history here somewhere. I believe it is a violet/brown wire for the tach signal. Search under shift light and my name and I think you will find the instructions.

I can't do it right now...

violet green wire for the tach wire. Do you remember which wire it is for the ignition? Thanks

Edwin

Edwin,

That's it - As I recall, it's only 3 wires - tach (violet/green), power, ground. I don't think there is anything else - perhaps ignition and tach are descriptions for the same thing....it's been a while, but I am pretty sure it was just those 3 wires.
