Are there any difference between the exhausts of the the tt, x-50, and the GT2? I am in the process of trying to buy a stock exhaust to keep around, in case I get tired of the sound level of my modified exhaust, and was just curious.

From what I heard... X50 is the same as the GT2 and then the Stock Turbo Exhaust is different...

One of the aftermarket exhaust manufacturers claims that he cuts open stock exhausts all the time, and that the stock and X50 exhausts _both_ changed to larger resonator openings in late '02, giving even the stock Turbo a throatier sound (and probably relieving backpressure for the purposes of X50). My '01 exhaust was replaced with an '03 (actually, the whole engine), and it did sound different to me when I got it back a day later, but maybe I was dreaming (I have an aftermarket exhaust now anyway). You can search here or rennlist for the threads.
