Poll: what's your top speed in a TT?
202mph a couple of times. I held that speed for a couple miles and thats as fast as it would go. I did brake pretty hard from that speed and the car stayed straight and was very stable. I had the PSM off when I did the runs but I was told that it automatically comes on under braking....

181 MPH
On a desert road in Cali. It was 6AM in Bakersfield and the whole crew just returned from a night of mandatory partying .. So with 20 minutes of sleep I decided what better time than the present to test the limits of the 996TT. Foot down full throttle and then in what seemed like 3 seconds 181 registered on the speedo..
Thats when I opened my eyes and lost my *****
.. Car definetaly had alot more in it.. The car has a very aggressive Aero kit so at 181 it felt as if you could keep one hand on the wheel and talk on the cell phone with a hang over..In fact thats what I was doing
. I need another day like that and the courage to push it past 200 MPH... Maybe I should wait for the points to comeoff my license first

Does anyone have a video cam shot of the instruments running all the way to ###?
That'd be awesome to see the shift points, rpm, and all
Should mount a wide angle digicam on the steering column or wear one.
