Angry Coupe turned into a cab...

I have had my car for about 22 months.... It is not a daily driver.
I have driven through some rain but the car has never sat out in a good rain...

A few weeks ago some of us in Florida drove up to Jacksonville and Harris from Brumos was good enough to allow us to see their awesome collection... While we were doing that it rained like a typical Florida downpour...

When I got in my car I noticed water dripping out of the headliner in the corner down onto the rear seat.. Now if my car was a cab and the top was down I would have understood... But it's not...

It's going to the dealer tomorrow... Anyone else have a leak? I though it may have leaked in the sunroof and ran back to the rear of the headliner (since it is sloped that way) and then dripped as it pooled in the head liner... It rained like cats and dogs on the ride home but did not leak.. Only when it was parked did it leak.

I know you guys like to run with your sunroofs in the vent position. I know its doubtfull, but is it possible the sunroof was not all the way down? Otherwise I have heard of sunroof drains getting clogged, surely they will take a look there.

I would bet that it is related to the sunroof drains as Sloth mentioned. Either clogged or even disconnected.

I never use my sunroof.... It is always closed...

It would be interesting how they are clogged if they are.. The car is never in weather and garaged 99% of the time.

There's a drain line at the drivers side rear corner of the sunroof mechanism, just above the rear seat behind the drivers seat. Have them check the plastic piece that the drain hose attaches to--it could have a hairline crack which is leaking. If so, they'll need to replace the sunroof mechanism, since the plastic piece can't be swapped. Happened to a friend.

Took the car in today and they found the sunroof drain not properly attached... So that was the problem...
