850ish...10 hours. Tranny got dropped instead of the engine. I was told this saved time...

I put a LWFW in at the same time....I like it as it revs much faster.

I have used Goelz Motors in Deerfield to do a lot of work on my 996TT. In fact, I just picked-up my car today after a head gasket leak. Very good people to work with. I have referred 6 or 7 people to them so far and everyone os quite happy. Much cheaper and more knowledgeable than the Exchange in Highland Park. Ask for Jeff and tell him Adam sent you. BTW, the shop is really impressive. They have like 15 lifts and a ton of storage space.

I have a lwfw, does that have a long life or may it need to be replaced as well. I did not put the last clutch in and want to make sure it gets fixed correctly.

Does anyone know if you can get the part number off of the old clutch. I may just want to put back in what got fried?

I think the LWFW is safe....one piece, RS spec....call Kevin at Ultimatemotorwerks.com (UMW)...where I got mine from.

Meaning, it doesn't get replaced if I go through another clutch. I suppose one could do so much damage to a clutch that.....but I would likely get my car attention at first slippage.

Good Luck!
