New MAF solution needed at what HP level?
I know that the MAF can go bad for numerous reasons on both totally stock and on modded cars: oil, dirt, just because, or maybe too much air flow with high HP. It seems like most tuners with packages of over 600 crank hp are also selling new versions of the MAF to go with it. Would it be safe to say that at under 600hp the stock MAF will be OK "most of the time", or is there no particular crank hp level at which the stock MAF won't be "in jeopardy"?
