AWE Exhaust and black anodized Techart Tips for sale

I just got the AWE exhaust installed, and it does not work for me on the cab. It is great with the top up but too much for me with the top down.

I just used it for a week. New price is $3,695, you can have mine for $3,250.

Turns out the AWE was not mounted correctly and made more noise than it should have.

I corrected the problem, about 30 min. ago, and I have to say the AWE sounds pretty damn sweet now.

Two of the clamps were not sealed tight during the installation and allowed exhaust gas to escape before the canister. This resulted in an exhaust note I did not care for.

Funny thing is that two mechanics did not find the problem and swore that this was what the exhaust sounds. I have to say that I am pretty disappointed in the mechanic who did the install, this is a mistake even an apprentice should not make.

It took a guy like me, never been a mechanic but sold lots of parts to them, armed with a flashlight, to investigate. I noticed traces of water (from condensation) in one area of the clamp. I thought that there must be an exhaust leak at the clamp and decided to tighten that clamp. That was all it took and now I have a great sounding system. Just what I wanted.

great to hear that the exh sound sweet,but are you not suppose to take it off the car n ship it out to me?thought the delay was that your car broke down.,if there is a change of heart pls return the money that i hv sent to you if that is the case..appreciate your clarification-i hate to wait

 

Just had mine installed and really like it not as loud as the others and no drone in side the car .the tone is lower pitch than the others and not quite as loud on top, as baby bear said this ones JUST RIGHT.
