looks like a hot air intake... honestly don't put that it in....

Yea the only thing that will do is raise you AIT.. Would be nice if it works...but I would cut off my middle nut if it did.

Really...

It amazes me what some folks get away with... that pathetic piece of metal is a 'heat shield' (what, air doesn't flow around it?!)... and they 'strongly believe it will add 15HP'.

It is surprising how many air intakes are sold which look cool but reduce performance. It seems that vendors call anything a "cold" air intake...
