I have the AEM tru-boost in my Porsche and I love it wouldn't trade it for anything. Super simple to use!

About the tru boost, would somebody know if you can control 2 waste gates separately? OR is the typical set-up to control both waste gates with one controller?

Thanks

The 996TT wastegates are in parallel (activated simultaneously), so you only need one controller. You could use two solenoids, but this would be redundant for the above reason.

Great,
So you need only one solenoid.

Thanks

I have become very partial to the HKS EVC IV. I have used mine in three different vehicles over a period of about 6 years. Like most EBC's, set it and forget it. Drive around on low boost hit a button for high boost, it always corrects for you. Easy to set up on the road, but always seemed to have trouble on the dyno. Gotta make a full 3rd or 4th gear pass (full boost for a few seconds), then do it again, boom, set!!! Easier with a friend on board. I've since sold mine, but am now in the market for another one soon for my 996. It seems everyone is "jonesing" for the Greddy, so I have to do some more homework
