No. SVS wasn't even there. The only TT Viper there was an '02 GTS...with full interior, stereo, A/C and a 4 pt. rollbar. The same one that toyed with the Carerra GT on the airstrip last year. It was Ricky's first time at the mile, and he only made one pass. He was topped-out and out of gear by the 3/4 mark. He snapped his 2.73 gears at TX2k8 last weekend and had to settle with running the stock 3.08's. Congrats to the shop car Supra's.

 

You're going to need to update it again! How does 6.68 60-130 sound? I just got verified files back from Scott and will post tomorrow!

Marty the car Kelly is referring to is Gray/Purple and is the GTS TT car that was at TX2K8. I saw him running 155 mph or so on drag radials consistenly at TX2K8. It's a badass car!

Here is a vid of SW piloting the Supra to 229.7 mph. The scary thing is that this was with no NOS and at 32 psi. They have another 10 psi and NOS but didn't get a chance to run it that way. Congrats to ALL competitors!

Correct, Chris told me last night that a freak wastegate connection prohibited them from running any more boost...chit, that car makes nearly 1600rwhp on full tilt: 32psi is pretty darn tame.

Great for them though, wish I had known they were running, I'd have gone. Pooh.

Not sure Marty.. Todd told me he ran a 195mph tho in the EVT700 997TT on Saturday which is quick!

Hopefully the official #'s will get compiled and posted soon. I think most of the numbers posted so far are correct but some are not (timing station girl is my buddie's GF). I ran a 185.8 with the new AWE 700 997tt kit. The conditions weren't great - early fog and mist keeping the early track a bit loose, the headwind that was strong enough to knock over the mile marker twice, and like a dumbass I left the PSM on which killed my launch (yeah, I suck!). It was great seeing everyone there and some of the trick cars and bikes (turbine powered jet-bike!!). It was also watching the video crew helo helplessly trying to keep up with VR's CGT!!
