Officially the new owner of a 996TT!

I finally joined the club. Flew down to Phoenix yesterday and took the keys from Rob (rwm514) after having some work maintenance and PPI performed by Robert @ Redline Motorsports.
Being this was my first Porsche and only drive one stock 996TT for a few street miles prior to this, my 800 mile drive back to San Francisco yesterday and today was a phenomenal experience. What a car! Many of you have probably seen this car in the for sale section recently, or other posts by Rob. I wanna say he was a pleasure to deal with and he took tremendous care of this car in the few years he owned it. That is evident. With the RWD conversion and EVO stage 2 on this car, I am stoked to have this my new daily driver. I just wonder how long it will take for me to be content with the power and want more! hilarious Pics of the car when I picked it up, and then my radar detector/laser jammer situation for the ride back. |
Looks like you were prepaired for the trip home!
Enjoy the car. It looks great. Mike |
Looks great! Nice color. Congrats! V1 will definitely help hilarious

Thanks guys.
I think either one or both of my devices were constantly going off from the AZ/CA border all the way to SF. At least I was lucky to have correctly picked my spots for those high speed blasts. :) The V1 is a great piece. |
Congratulations .. good to hear another one from SF ... someone from the area should organize an SF meet :)
