Does anyone have the measurements of the GT3 seat and a Q about Schroth belts
I would like to use the leather GT3 seat in my 914, and was hoping that I don't have to modify the interior too much. So if anyone can get me the measurement of the seat all around that would be great.
And those of you with the Schroth Profi III-FE asm belts, can the belts rap around a harness bar?

I don't have the measurements of the seats, but I'm sure you can get it from one of the online catalogs....
As far as the Schroth belts are concerned, it depends on which ones you get. I'm not sure the exact part # of mine, but I have the Schroth 4 point harnesses that attach to the bar....

Here is Schroth's Web site. The distributors list is on the left, and there is three pages. But HMS Motorsport is the U.S. distributor.

Tuner, remember that this is going into a 914 and I just want a 4 point belt, so do you have a belt for me or is the Profi III FE asm okay.

The GT3 seat is designed to use at least 5 point harnesses. With 4 point harnesses you could "slide" under the belts in an crash....
Please give me a little more info...

1) The car will be a 3.2L F6 for some tracking, DE, autocrossing, and street.
2) Harness bar
3) I sure that I will have to make custom brackets
4) The Schroth asm belts are DOT legal and with the asm feature anti-submarining is greatly reduced. Read on:
From Scroth's Web Site,
For safetyテつエs sake:
4-point harnesses with asmテつョ
The patented SCHROTH asmテつョ system offers a unique safety advantage for 4-point harnesses. asmテつョ is the acronym for anti submarining. The risk of submarining (sliding underneath the lap belt), a well known phenomenon during frontal impacts, is significantly reduced by the asmテつョ safety system. The energy converter is located in the inboard shoulder belt. Therefore make sure you purchase left and/or right harnesses. Severe injuries or death are possible using 4-point harnesses without the SCHROTH asmテつョ safety system or an anti-sub strap. SCHROTH harnesses designed for use on public roads (FE models) or those likely to be used as 4-points come with the asmテつョ safety system. The performance of the SCHROTH asmテつョ safety system has also been tested in conjunction with airbags. However newly developed Head And Neck Supports (HANS) further reduce head deceleration and neck bending. The asmテつョ system is not compatible with such devices. Therefore all SCHROTH models likely to be used with such additional devices come without the asmテつョ system. SCHROTH recommends the HANS use with a SCHROTH HANS compatible restraint (H-indicated models). Non-asmテつョ racing harnesses must always be worn with the anti-sub strap!
