Please clarify TX MILE Speeds this year for the (2) 997TT's
SubscribeHonestly, I dont want to run the 1/4 mile because I do not want to tear up my turbo. As far as the 60 to 130 time, I think it could be a good time. I was actually going to run my car at the last 60 to 130 event but the tract was closed before I had my opportunity. I was waiting for the one person to put down the time to beat. Oh well, the tract was closed prematurely and that was that.

So you spent all that $ on a build and you are not sure if it can handle some 1/4 mile runs?Originally Posted by robmd99

It is not a question of money; it is a question of what I want from this car. I built this car for many reasons but the main reason was to have fun! I truly dont care about breaking any new records and I especially dont want to break my car! Remember my car has a ton of power and I have learn from others on this site as well as in person what can happend to your car with this much power. Originally Posted by LUISGT3

Thanks guys,
Texas in October is a possibility, and Yes Tim did beat me by less than 1 mph which
was a very nice accomplishment last fall.
As for Rob...oh well what can I say? I would love to see it run the TX MILE !!
Joe, maybe we can do the October thing (It is a big committment and my family will
have had enough by summer's end...)

Woodster your accomplishment is more notable then mine, as I am a shop owner and tuner. Although, that was my first go at it, and I purchased that 996tt in August. We just found out where the siemens fuel injector runs out. I laid down 776 rwhp on Saturday, video is coming Originally Posted by WOODTSTER

. Please remember that we are working in stages and not jumping to maximum HP in a stand alone for the benefit of the 6speed community.Quote:
I always have a car that runs but I could run you on a Schwinn cause you haven't shown us anything ...except for some supposed street races against some 800hp cars and we are supposed to believe you ....Yeah OK!....This coming from the same guy who told us his car was running great for a year..........meanwhile it had 2 blown headgaskets and didn't run at all.....Your a joke!Originally Posted by robmd99
