front driveshaft replacement

Could someone inform me where to get a front driveshaft for my 01 tt. Is a c4 driveshaft the same unit?

I'm sure there are plenty of people here who have spare driveshafts from the RWD conversions. If not look up LA Auto Dismantlers. They specialize in Porsche.
