Hi Guys,

I just ordered a Turbo Cab that's at port which fits my needs perfectly. The only thing it has that I wouldn't normally order is the Stainless Exhaust tips. I figure I'm going to get an exhaust for the car, so wouldn't it be better to just get the car with the stock tips and just buy an aftermarket exhaust later?

$1050 Canadian for a Stainless exhaust tips seems ridiculous to me. But then again, I think they look great.

What do you guys think I should do? Tell them to take the stainless exhaust tips off, or just keep them on and forget about the headache.

BTW, I plan to chip the car later with a GIAC Flashloader, so an exhaust will probably be required. Which begs the question, which exhaust is the best but NOT loud. I don't want to attract any more attention from the Police than I have to!

I have the Europipe Stage II loud with the dual exhaust tips. The tips were an $400 or so but they look awesome. Although the tips look virtually identical to the X54 tips, they are cut to 70 mm specs for airflow, I presume. In short, I'd save the money and get the stock tips. Put the money towards a new exhaust.

You will get a variety of viewpoints when it comes to exhausts. I personally love the Europipe S II Loud and the Techart Sport.

I got the tips and used them on my Fabspeed Sport - I got it as part of the package that included aluminum gauges, stainless door sills and tips. Not a bad price for the package and the look GREAT on my TT Cab
