CONGRATS, that is solid! Like Jamie said, these type of threads remind of me the days when everyone was scared to run 600 rwhp on stock Supra bottom end. Shoot, we used to think that 600 rwhp was the MAX on stock cams...

Jamie... I had Tym send over a sheet with your GT2 pulled in 4th... same dyno... your pull had a peak boost of 1.4 according to the Durametric log from that pull. 2 solid cars for sure! What did you trap at this power level?

Will we see similar numbers on a 996tt stock motor?

the internals on the 997 are more robust than on the 996. i think we can probably get away with 700 rwhp on the 996. i am speaking for myself. tym may think i am a bit crazy saying this.

Jamie could you have that file emailed to me. I'd like to lay it over 22psi run (although I let out early before it made its peak power due to it going lean). I want to see the difference in spool time with a full GT3071 vs a GT3071 / K24 hybrid.

Awesome comparison! I trapped 137 on my one and only run down the track last summer with a lazy launch and normal shifts. I posted the slip somewhere on here That GT2 had a 140 trap in it no problem turned up.

Can't wait to run this thing!

Not true...It just flattened out...perhaps due to heads/cams/displacement diferrences between the 996/997....? Maybe tuning? Just a guess though.
