hey jean, actually a lot of us here run them and leave them on cars that are on the street and then drive to the track. Brembo has a few different choices with pad compound so you can get anything from a quieter "street" pad, to "race", "endurance" and so forth.... One of the beauties of this set ups is the way the caliper is designed you can work with a few different 18s (BBS race wheels being one of them) but better still it's a true race caliper and swapping pads takes almost no time at all. It's not like a street kit etc... The price however

im actually with mikelly , i loved my stoptechs on my m3 , there were GREAT! and i would put money that stoptechs would blow away rotoras in reliability at the track .

I'm surprised to hear some folks don't consider 14" much of any upgrade. Almost pulled the trigger on some 380's but never got around to seeing what spacers I'd need for them to fit.
