how to do a 1/4 miles

How is the best way to do a 400 meters run (1/4 miles) with the 996 TT ?
PSM should be on or off ?
How much RPM before you drop the clutch ?

PSM off.

Initially, try launching at 2,500 -3,000 rpm. If the car bogs, up the rpm a couple of hundred. If it spins too much, lower the rpm by a couple of hundred. You're looking for slight wheelspin to prevent the engine from bogging.

It's difficult to get these cars to launch properly...so plan on having to do multiple runs before you get it down.

it also depends on if you "dump" the clutch or if you "ride" the clutch..
