Four low mileage 996 GT2s on Ebay.
Obviously not the same kind of car, but these cars are holding their values great compared to one of the few other cars that start at under 90k and go up to around 200k, which is the MB S65, CL65, and SL65. They were all around 200k new and some are going for as little as $30k now. Worst depreciating cars ever.
I think very few people who shop for the cars in that price range will be interested in getting a fairly common, as far as supercars go, 6-7 year old car with no remaining warranty.
y65 have an 01, dumped lots of buckes in it and love the thing the awd does come off ya know... saw a great gt car at neillo porsche i want it but $188,000.00 was too steep in theses times for me, check their inv for a look at a neato jet car.....what evers fair steve
Agree,
You are buying uniqueness and the pinnacle of Porsche engineering/performance of the time. There is no real substitute for the actual feel of driving a GT2. They are
selling for a premium for a reason. Yes 2 wheel drive conversions give you a different feel but the suspension components are so different that you could spend a fortune
on making it handle like a GT2. I like AWD in my car but have always longed for a GT2. How many GT2's do you see driving around in your typical weekly jaunts?
Not many.

Marty, every weekend I go out, I see these particular 2 GT2's. One's yellow and ones silver. They belong to this cute little gay couple. They mainly just get in the way.

The GT2 prices are all over the board. I have seen them go as low as 80k and the prices listed here are some of the highest I have seen recently. It is a beauty. Not for me as I am not a collector, I like driving mine hard, and a 996tt with upgrades and GT2 look is perfect. And I do like awd. Nice feature in the wet, traction wise and that extra weight in front really balances the car out.

Yes and NO... the 996tt is a better value for those on a budget, whereas the gt2 should be and does demand a premium because it is one of the lowest production cars ever made... yes, about 1/3 as many gt2s out there as CGTs!!!! This car is a STEAL in this economy for someone that can afford to keep it.
