lol sure it may be "bad" if you plan on driving 190mph - otherwise for the 99.999999% of us it's nothing more than a cosmetic mod

I don't know the data...but, I think it is likely to "start" to matter when the electric stock rear spoiler rises (75mph) and then likely to matter more as you go faster. I have hear people say the front felt "light" at 105 and much better with only the front spoiler on or off....

Tom, you lost your aero piece at VIR ...what was it like on and off in terms of the front end at high speed (if you are reading this of course)?

Anyway, on these cars, Porsche did their homework....I'd rather have my front with more rather than less downforce any day, to he honest.

So if you DE, it may really matter. Not sure though...I just don't know.

I have the C4S lip and I had my car at 168 the other night and it felt solid.

Does it pull straight down or towards the front of car?

That is 3mph faster than I hit on the VIR straight (per GPS..speedo said 158, gps said 165) ->so I have to say it may not be a big deal. I am waiting for Tom Kerr to chime in as he had a full factory aero package and the front lip was taken out day 1 ....wonder if he noticed the lack of downforce up front or not....

You also may have a suspension set up that is very well done....anyway, if it did not matter, Porsche would not recommend the use of both front and rear at the same time for their aero packages....

Another interesting point is what the car is set-up for. If you are driving the road course, downforce is a plus. If you are primarily driving at the drag strip, downforce is just added weight (as long as you are not generating lift).

Terminator: It has two phillis screws...one in each wheel well...then it pulls straight forward with a number of tabs that slip into slots all along the bottom of the lip. Easy to put on and take off...

I ended up fracturing my painted factory lip that came with the rear aero kit...and just replaced it with the FVD black lip...it fits perfectly and is a whole bunch cheaper than trying to replace the factory one....plus the factory lip extends downward further, and no matter how careful you are...you're going to bang it all up...so the FVD gives me a bit more ground clearance....but I still scrape occasionally.
