So I finally got the Fabspeed super sport installed, and it was definitely worth the wait! I almost had buyers remorse yesterday but after driving around more today, I've come to appreciate the brute loudness of this thing. This car just sounds angry! I love it! I know a lot of you guys love the Europipe and Techarts and Cargraphics (which was the second choice) but this thing just kicks ***, and was what I was looking for. Yes there is resonance, but that is a factor of the loudness of this thing and coming from a Boxster with a really loud exhaust (GHL) right behind my head this is actually a little more tolerable. This is my daily driver and although I haven't done a long drive yet with it, I'm sure it would get to me after a while. Fortunately I live close to work so it's no problem. Big thanks go out to Tom and Arling over at Lucent for some great work and service. I will be back there soon! I just wish it wasn't so hot here in L.A. today so I could really get on the car more...oh well, I'll just wait till tonight! Anyone considering this exhaust should really check it out in person.

The cold start and backfire on downshifts are SICK!!

 

yeah, there is nothing more exhilerating besides the car's acceleration than the sound of the exhaust backfiring from 1st to 2nd gear shifts IMO. It turns heads on every street corner, and scares the hell out of old people.
