You used these on the Turbo Twist Wheels? Did you rubb at all?

just curious...do you guys feel anything different when you add the spacers (e.g. shaking...) also with 18mm spacers what size bolt do you need to get for the wheels?

Apparently adding spacers improves handling as the car track is wider??

smokinxtreme May 23, 2008 01:21 PM

so you guys are using spacers on your factory set-up..........

Lots of variables here.
If you go real low, & have not stiffened your suspension, & are running any respectable neg. camber.....18" spacer in the rear added to reg 45mm offset hollows will cause you more trouble than fender prep can solve.
GT2 height is 113F (+-5mm) and 138R (+-5mm)......if you stay up a bit, stiffen, not so much neg cam....any one or como of the 3 & you may be OK.
Suggestion.....a future plan to order wheels with your desired offset....put the 18" spacers on the shelf.
