unvmym3 is correct. Specifically, the fuel upgrade inlcudes a high flow inline pump, larger fuel injectors, adapters for the fuel rails to hold the larger injectors, and returning to a stock FPR.

Do you have to drop the engine to change the fuel injectors?

Thanks for all the comments guys. Now that I've had a few days to enjoy the car, I am really appreciating it.

John D was right. It's hard to enjoy the power for more than a few seconds at a time, because the car gets to illegal speeds very quickly. Somehow I think I'll find a way though!! The car just pulls so hard and doesn't fall off with higher RPM's. Once boost kicks in, it's like a time warp...SO MUCH FUN!!!!

I plan on getting some 60-130 times this weekend, so stay tuned to that thread. I will do some on pump gas and then some on ms103 since I just got a barrel delivered last night. BTW, race gas smells great!!

Adam- what setup did you have when you ran the 8.25? I ran my very first 60-130 this morning and ran the tach up to 7400 both shifts cause I was too nervous looking across the interstate for blue lights. Horrible work by the "yoke holder." I did an 8.20 w/ 2 shifts. I don't know anything about it but common sense tells me maybe I left 1/2 second+ .....w/ faster shifts and short shifting at maybe 6500. I am waiting until Monday when my buddy gets back from VIR so we can use his radios, car and V1's. Small town and all that....that is publicity I definitely do not need or want! Oh yeah, boost at 1.22bar on 100 octane, so there is some room there as well.

Look forward to seeing what you run!

I made 527rwhp / 541tq yesterday with my K24/18G setup here in the FL heat, I'm anxious to get the upgrade package and turn the boost up a bit as well. (I've been running it on pump but with them running E10 at all the pumps I'm adding 1-2 gallons of VP Streetblaze unleaded for some extra security.

Adams great report and analysis. How much they charged you for the installation of the kit?

Yes, it takes some practice to get the 60-130 right. I just tried a bunch of different ways of doing it, and 8.25 was the best I could do. It was attained on 93 octane at 1.1bar with the gt640, so I'm hoping to be in the mid 7's with the new setup and race gas...we'll see. I've still got a half tank of 93 octane to burn off, and in goes the ms103!!!

What boost have you been running on pump gas? I've been around 1.05 to 1.1, and my afr's are consistent mid to high 11's.

How about 100 octane? Is 1.22 as high as you've gone? What are your afr's like at that level?

Good luck getting some better times!!!

Adam, thanks again for this invaluable feedback, it came in just in time. I wonder if any shop here in Southern CA offers this kit for a reasonable price.

I would just go with Protomotive for the parts and tuning. Lucent has done 1 maybe a couple more of the installs and they are very reasonable.
