The aero involved with the m5 is acutally quite extreme...but with that big wing on the turbo and those big air intakes, the turbos SHOULDnt hit those speed without having some SERIOUS power to overcome the resistance.

No. Stock, de-limited M5's will not hit a true 200 mph. BMW M cars speedometers read notoriously high. The car in the vid is not really doing 200+ mph, regardless of what its inaccurate speedometer shows.

Also, just so you know...the drag coefficient is higher on the M5 (.35) than it is on the 997TT (.31). Hence, it will take less power for a 997TT to hit 200 mph than it will for an M5.
