H&R Suspension + OZ SLIII = Rubbing. Who can help me out?
H&R Suspension + OZ SLIII = Rubbing. Who can help me out?
So I've had H&R Coilovers on for some time now and finally put some aftermarket wheels on. TBoy sold me a set of OZ SLIIIs for a great price so I jumped on them and refinished them in a different color.
The folowing specs:
Rear Offset: 36mm
Tire Size: 295/30/19
Front Offset: 49mm
Tire Size:235/35/19
After installing them today I had almost full stop rubbing in the front. The front was rubbing horribly so I installed some 6mm spacers. I guess since the offsets were so aggressive I pushed the wheels out a tad too much and now I'm rubbing very slightly on the outside. What can you guys recommend to do? I'm thinking about rolling the fender very slightly for clearance but I would honestly rather not even have spacers to begin with. Tommy had said that I should check out my camber, might be too positive. It looks a little positive on the mount but the wheels look very straight. When I had originally gotten an alignment with the stock wheels a while back the alignment guy tried to set up as close as possible to oem spec.
As I said, I'm thinking about rolling slightly and checking out some adjustment with my alignment guy on Monday. What are my options right now? Any suggestions, it would be much appreciated.
If you are wondering what kind of finish the wheels have now and the stance here are some quick camera phone pics
