Painted Front and Rear Bumperettes

In the rear, on either side of the license plate are these little 'bumper' blocks. All 996s have them on the back. The are rubber and black.
In this thread, they are painted.
ALSO, in early 2001 they had them on the FRONT also. Look at the first picture in the first post. You will rarely see these in other 996s posted here.
