West LA: Who has JIC suspension?
Hi,
I bought one and have not put it in yet.
My car is a Turbo Cab and I'm now concerned that it may be too harsh for a cab. I had PSS9s before and they were no problem, almost like stock.
Anyone in West LA who can take me for a ride in a Turbo with a JIC set-up?

I'm in Northern Calif, but you won't be disappointed with the JIC's. Night and day difference over OEM. Even without sways (which will be my next purchase) rock solid on turns. Instant dampening on bumps, no floating sensation. At 90mph feels like your going 40mph. Car feels planted to the road even when going over the many bumps that are so common on our wonderfully well maintained Calif freeways

I think the retail on the 996tt units is 3200. I got a much better deal getting the whole package via Dan at vivid...but it was more than 3200.... Prices will go up as the dollars sinks on some of the stuff, so I'd call around.
I went JIC's, H&R front and rear (GT3 rear is spec'd for a narrow body of the GT3 and not our cars, but is hollow so a little lighter...), Agency Power front and rear sway links, adjustable AP rear control arms, and GT2 corner balance (stock gt2 height was what I chose...you can go lower, but the roads and gas stations around here would make that a front air dam/exhaust tip disaster...).
Very happy. Very good day to day. Not annoying to my family at all.
Quiet. So far, any issues I have had were dealt with via Dan.
I am not getting anything "from" Dan for saying this...just a customer. I liked the fact that is was all sold together. Key for me was my indy mechanic that did it right and figured it all out for a fair price...assume at least 6-8 hours on your mechanic's experience PLUS the corner....

JIC seems to have good quality but.........
Hey I got a second hand set from a very reputable shop. Still working out kinks due to getting the wrong set (for C2). I had both front spindles out of car before I realized the droplink brackets were wrong and missing 2 locknuts.
The job is time consuming and a must for having proper tools. Difficult ....not really. You can screw some stuff up if youre not careful though. I would say 8 hours for a DIY. I will try to record the entire install when I start. I am in contact with JIC directly and I have to say that ADAM and STEVE are great in customer service.
Just waiting on JIC to get my brackets from Japan and I will be in business.
