I like to take mine out alone for "therapy sessions" later in the evening when its quiet out.. no radio, windows open. Its such an escape from the grind. My colleagues often ask why I never take the tt to work, but they wouldnt understand.

Plus a million percent! Mine is not a DD, but I'm putting more miles on her than my other cars.

love cruisin aimlessly with windows down and breeze blowing. just a little crappier here in asia where the humidity rarely drops below 90% in the summer and the pollution is sht. nothing like a spring drive with the wind blowing on a chicago lakeshore afternoon.

Not a Porsche, but I feel the same.
I'll often go for a 150-170 mile cruise on a Sunday morn , just to go for a drive.

I take the train to work, but when I stay late, the firm springs for a car service. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten home from work at 11pm, stepped out of the car service car and directly into the 996TT for a 30 minute decompression drive.
The best medicine.

I have to tell you for me its as simple as the drive home from work even. I love getting in the car and doing a spirited sprint up the on ramp even if from that point forward I only do a steady cruise. Windows must be down. If I've had the worst day imaginable somehow the drive home always seems to be the cure.

I personally love waking up early on the weekends for back road driving. Love it.

Totally feel you on that Scott. I find really lame excuses to take my car out in the middle of the night. Like I have to go grocery shopping at 1am to the 24hr store 25mi away through the twisty country roads. Love it.

The only thing better than a nice cruise down Pacific Coast Hwy is a friendly race with some friends (of course in Mexico)!
