I am not sure. I do know that the team at SPI builds these assemblies by hand at their shop and they are much larger than the stockers in apperance. On a 90degree 100percent humidity day, I went for a ride in one Tyms 997TT Level Four cars (GT RUS's 997TT tip and link to that thread: My SPI 750 project...) and after a few miles we stopped and felt the driver side intercooler and it was room temp...sick! I was sold. Oh check SPI's website out in my sig. and call Tym with questions.

actually those are not the blown 6 intercoolers. SPI hand builds each of their intercoolers at the shop. they are not even close to a stock sized intercoolers.

I'm gonna venture to guess he is saying that is what he runs on his own car.... ?
Tym is installing his intercoolers on my car as well. I wanted to get the performance consistency that Tym's intercoolers offer, as well as to have my car tuned with them on the car.
Hey dk996tt, not to hujack the thread, but Tym is making you a 1000+HP 996 AND a 900HP 997?????? I'm jealous!!!

Evoms and Blown 6 seem like the intermediate priced entries,
though some people have had big problems doing business with B6.
The BIG intercoolers are from Protomotive (what I have with 4.5" thick cores),
and Switzer's amazing ones pictured above.
As usual it all depends on usage patterns, goals, etc.
All above will do a MUCH better job than stock.
