Lightbulb Just bought a V8VS and need to ALL service. Advice for Parts please.

Hi All, I've just bought a V8VS (4.7 SS2) which is in extremely clean condition and low mileage.

The only downside: No service history from 2018 onwards. It's a mystery if anything was done.

So..... I have to assume nothing was done.

I'm trying to put together a list of service things I'll need to do to "start fresh" along with part numbers, and I'd really appreciate it if anyone could chime in with things I'm missing:

EDIT: Thanks People! I've expanded the list but please keep it coming.....

1. Oil Change and filter with O rings (part numbers needed)

oil filter 9G33-6714-AA x 1
bypass cover bolts 703149 SCREW, M6X16 x 4
bypass filter o-rings 6G33-6C861-AA x 2
oil sump plug 6G43-04-10082 x 1
oil reservoir crush washer 6G33-9N228-AA x 1

2. Coolant Flush (parts needed?)

3. Brake flush (parts needed?)
Brakes:
Brembo 09.8780.21 x 2 - front rotors
Brembo 98.8248.40 x 4 - caliper/brake pad hardware
4G43-2N389-AA x 4 - rotor retention screw
4G43-2C564-AB x 8 - caliper bolts
Brembo 09.8781.21 x 2 rear rotors
PADS: https://www.velocityap.com/product/a...-rear-ap-1166/

4. Transaxle Fluid (parts needed?)

5. Plugs and Coils (6G43-07-10056-PK or NGK Iridium?) / (9G33-12A366-AA or 6G33-12A366-CA coils or alternative?)
6G43-07-10056-PK x 2 - spark plugs (pack of 4)
9G33-12A366-AA x 8 - coilpacks

6. Air and cabin filters (Confused on part numbers for these)
-cabin filter set (Mahle LAK235S)
-air filter set (using Blue Print part number ADJ132232)

7. accessory belt 9G33-8620-AB

8. Suspension Parts:

703216-PK - x 2 shock mount nuts (pack of 10)
703135 x 4 - front lower shock bolts
703166-PK x 1 - front lower shock nuts (pack of 5)
703154-PK x 1 - rear lower shock bolt (pack of 2)

Not sure why you need to do plugs and coils if low miles. I just bought a 2016 V12S and even though the scheduled maintenance indicates going much longer than my 25K miles, I know many V12 owners that have had plug-coil issues at about the mileage I have and for that reason I'll do the plugs and coils on my next Aston service. I don't know any 4.3 or 4.7 owners that have had plug-coil issues with lower miles, or even higher miles. I did learn of a 24K mile 2019 Vantage that needed a change just last week.

Look also at door, bonnet and trunk struts - do they stay open?
Battery - if older I'd replace it.
Adjust the fuel door (even if it works)
Check the bonnet cabling and operation
I replaced the transaxle feed lines on my 2011 V8 Vantage and will do the same on my V12S with VelocityAP lines.
Aston brakes have a terrible dust problem - replace with Porterfield
Check parking brake tension, I just replaced my rear discs because the tension was wrong.

I would wait until a coil throws a code. Might as well get as much mileage as you can from them.

I did a similar thing, I went on RedPants to learn everything and the only missing thing I see is the thermostat and gasket.

Welcome to the world of Aston Martin. Drive the car whenever you possibly can. Castrol Oil is available at ORiely’s. Motul brake fluid from Amazon and gear lube from Amazon.

Good point. I'll probably keep them, just AM recommend 5 years and this car in a 2016 and not sure if they've ever been done but I'll hold off.

Struts all work perfectly thankfully, but the AM add on bracket supports for the boot struts hasn't been done so I might to them (they're a pain to do once broken).

Seems to work fine.

I'll have to research this, sounds expensive if I'm not doing the TA fluid yet....

Yep, was like that on my previous V8VS. I've heard Portfieklds are the way to go - do you happen to have a part number?

I owned a V8VS until last month when it was totaled and this new one has a bit of a gap the recent service history so I know a lot about them, and wanted parts numbers to save some money (My local AM dealer will install official parts and just charge labor as their markup for parts is INSANE.

Thank you to everyone for the suggestions so far!

I've updated the initial comment / list to include what part numbers I could find, so as to make a resource for 4.7 owners.

If anyone has any other bits I should include please post it here!!!!

Since you have the paddles, and using a dealer, I would definitely have them change the clutch fluid and measure clutch wear/expected life. And congrats on finding another S!

The cabin filters are from Mazda. Save yourself at least $50.
