Thanks! So happy to be back in the club.

Clutch position reference 805

Self-tuned clutch closed position 1330

Self-tuned clutch closed position - kiss point d... 420 (yo!)

Clutch wear index (not sure of unit yet) 3818

Clutch wear index self-tuned counter 81

First self-tuned clutch closed position 1275

These were done on an Autel reader so the data names don't match up to the AMDS nomenclature but if I'm reading it right, there's tons of life left in the clutch?

So sorry to hear your former V8VS was totaled! I assume it took good care of its occupant(s) in that awful moment.

The car only has 10mm on the odo so I think the clutch is effectively new.

Thanks 🙏

I did take care of me. A woman blew a stop sign at 30mph and I collided going 35mph.

totalled both our cars but the airbags worked perfectly. I unfortunately have to do PT for a few months as it messed up my shoulder but thankfully no surgery or broken bones.

she had two kids in the back though 😳

Glad you're mostly unscathed. Scary how often people blow stop signs, never mind with two kids in the car. I hope they were OK also.

Make sure to change the power steering fluid too. I needed to replace mine as a part of a 10 year service, and it was night and day when it comes to steering feel. I wouldn't have believed it would have made such a difference.

Huh, thanks. Is it a difficult bleed and replace?

I had a shop do it, for the 10 year service. Redpants may have a DIY video though.

Pump out the old fluid (turn the wheel full lock left and right several times) then refill (same with the wheel movement).
Make sure you get the proper fluid and additive.
