I don't think selling it now is such a good idea. Buy a cheaper DD than the M5 and keep the 996.

Ok, "what suspension are you using", "what kind of wheels and size", "how many miles does your car have", "did you paint your roof", "would you like to trade cars", "do you need four doors", "what setting is your suspension on"?

Thanks a lot man. Its definitely going to be tough if I end up getting rid of it. I hadn't gotten it to the level I wanted to yet but good thing I suppose cuz of the dilemma I'm in lol.

Much appreciated. I have the H&R Coilovers, although I love the stance I don't like the feel too much. If I keep it, I'll upgrade to JICs .

Honestly I don't NEED it but I could definitely use it, it would be helpful to take out clients. We'll see what happens. Thanks

My brother has an E55, I LOVE his car. I can't swing the M5 and Turbo right now and I'd probably rather not since I don't get to drive much even on weekends.

PM me some info on your M5 when you get a chance and how much you are looking to get. Let me know the overall specs, it'd be great to work something out. Thanks buddy.

19"s, its weird sometimes they look like 19"s and other times they do look like 18"s... maybe its just the design with color that throws that off.

Yeah definitely would be nice. Can't do it right now though. I wish I balling like you though lol, got two of the hottest rides 997 GT3 and S63, nicely done . So ummm what do you do and how can I get into it?

Here is a picture of my M5 with DPE wheels. No matter which way you go, it will not be a wrong decision.
You are doing it up lovely , I'd love to have them both. I don't care much for gadgets but don't mind them. I could use the room and 4 doors for business purposes. Cars look GREAT!

Thanks bro, I've got 50k on it right now... I know its pretty high but I like to drive it every chance I get lol.

Yeah I got it painted Jet Black, thanks a lot... just trying to do something a little different on these. The only thing that sucks is that people who know me or my car know when its me lol.

If you are buying used, there is a rumor that CPO warranty might come out soon. Of course m5board.com for all things M5.

PS What wheels are those? sizes?
Yeah the prices have dropped significantly in this year alone, I was thinking maybe now would be fine since its starting to flatten out... cars are the worse assets! lol. Thanks for the heads up. The wheels are OZ Superleggeras in a custom finish, standard OZ 19x8.5 and 19x11.5 fitment.

Thanks! I was hoping to get the roof, wheels, and CF mirrors to play off each other without looking too off since the wheels and CF aren't black. I've love to have both, maybe next year

I hear ya, the market for our cars has sunk... I'm keeping that in mind too. We'll see maybe I'll end up getting another cheaper DD, just thought the M5 could be a great all purpose car.

Thanks, I love the stance too. They are H&R Coilovers, I brought it down to about 3 threads left... my front lip has taken some monster hits... its about to be repaired and painted tomorrow cuz its starting to look really bad lol.

You guys are getting me to really think twice about getting rid of this car. I had a problem not feeling connected to the car but maybe its just that its a pain to drive it in various places. We'll see what happens. Thanks for your comment

Car's looking nice Lee. When I first saw your wheels I thought to myself I need some of those. Then I realized I sold them too you

I'm thinking along the same lines though. Baby #2 on the way and I might be trading the 996tt and the e90 335 for an 09 e90 m3 dct just so I can drive the fun car more often.

keep the 996tt and lease a new 750i instead of buying an M5. Lease deals are insane now..$87,000 car, 2 year lease, no $$ down, 15k per year mileage..$870 a month. Best lease deal out there IMO. They are selling them 4 to 5k behind invoice to get ready for the new '09's coming to market in the beginning of the year. My friend has an M5 and after I got out of it and got back into my 750, aside from it being not as fast of course, I actually liked the ride MUCH better....quiet, smooth and a nice road car.
